Who We Are

Michael Jordan, President

Michael came to direct our business via a non-traditional route. He brings a wealth of knowledge - degrees in chemistry, electrical engineering and business - and some rather atypical professional experience. He joined the Air Force in his early 20s and spent his career designing satellites for the Department of Defense. He spent his tenure wearing those Air Force blues designing satellites and programs to guide some of America's most noted, and strategically important, launches into space. A rewarding career to be sure; however, when he got the call to take over the family business, his interests turned from space, back to earth. No more temporary assignments, Phoenix is indeed his home base.

Michael served as both the chairman of the board and president of the Western States Drycleaners and Launderers Association and was named Drycleaner of the Year in 2004 and 2005.

In 2004 Michael secured the CRDN of Arizona franchise and served on the Partners Advisory Committee for the past 10 years. CRDN recognized Michael as its “Shining Star” in 2004. Each year, the CRDN franchise has grown. As such, Michael has been recognized at the platinum level in sales 2006-2015.  CRDN of Arizona also has been the Number One franchise in America on two occasions since it began operation.

The team behind the owner:

Serving CRDN customers throughout the state of Arizona is a capable and well-rounded customer service team. Our front office, as well as, accounts receivable responsibilities are managed by Sandy Rice. Operations and all route logistics are overseen by Jason Kentzel, who along with all of the CSRs, ensure that each customer is treated with kid gloves.  In the Phoenix-metro area, this team is headed up by Mike Zarek. In Tucson/southern Arizona, our CSRs are Jose Cortez and Lailo Rodriguez.  Don't let these boundaries fool you, though.  Our team has traveled throughout the state into its farthest corners for restoration work.  In fact, we've partnered with other franchises to work jobs in southern California and western New Mexico.

The flip side of our company, Bell Drapery, has a customer service/home delivery component, too.  Matt Snyder, lead customer service rep, is "our guy" for client service when it comes to the drycleaning route.

Jason Kentzel, Plant Operations Manager

Jason Kentzel is our plant operations manager.  With 20 years of experience in the cleaning industry, we are proud to call Jason one of our own.  Previous experience includes time on board both the USS America and USS Enterprise.  Additionally, Jason spent 12 years as the operations manager for Roxy United Cleaners, and was the facilities manager for Best Cleaners.  He is quite used to the fast-paced work we provide at CRDN of Arizona; at Roxy Cleaners, he supervised personnel at three plants, three drop stores and four routes...whew!

Jason is certified by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation in the pinciples and practices of pressing and drycleaning; he is trained in fire restoration, machinery maintenance and repair, and professional wet cleaning.  He is a graduate of the New York School of Dry cleaning, and has attended Hazmat Spill Containment and Advance Firefighting programs.

Jeff McClinton, Tucson Manager

Jeff joined our sales team in 2009 and has been managing operations and marketing for Tucson and surrounding areas. Jeff’s expertise resides in finance and insurance training and development from previous employment. Overwhelmingly, Jeff’s best attribute is his compassion for each person and situation, which results in creative and effective solutions for all. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Arizona and exudes professionalism with each client he serves at CRDN of Arizona. Recognition of his work includes:
